This describes what the Atlas Conquest game collects, why, and how to stop it.
The short version
- The game records gameplay statistics, and you can switch that off in Settings.
- Turning it off also deletes what was already collected.
- Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with advertisers.
Accounts
Signing in uses Google or Discord through Unity Authentication. We receive an identifier for your account, not your password. Sign-in exists so your decks are saved and your games can be matched.
Gameplay analytics
With your consent, the game records gameplay events through Unity Gaming Services: matches started and finished, their length and outcome, the commander and deck used, menus opened, and any feedback you choose to submit. This exists to balance cards and to find where the game confuses people. It does not include chat, private messages, or anything you type other than feedback you deliberately send.
Consent, and how to turn it off
In the EU, EEA and UK, analytics are off until you opt in. Elsewhere they are on by default and you may opt out at any time. Either way the control is the same: Settings → Analytics. Turning it off stops collection and deletes what was previously collected.
To apply that rule we need to know which country you are in, so on first launch the game looks up the country associated with your IP address using ipapi.co. Only the two-letter country code is kept, it is stored locally on your machine, and the lookup is not repeated.
Who else is involved
- Unity Gaming Services — accounts, multiplayer, and analytics.
- ipapi.co — one country lookup on first launch.
- GitHub Pages — serves this website.
Children
Atlas Conquest is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and it will be removed.
Your choices
- Turn analytics off in Settings → Analytics, which also deletes what was collected.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or its deletion, using the address below.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date above will change and the game will say so on next launch.
